Vehicle and Fluid Inspections

Vehicles engine:
When the engine is running metal components inside rub together. These vital components require lubrication to prevent severe wear as oil loses its viscosity overtime. If these parts wear down, your vehicle may run rough, smoke, and eventually lose internal compression or cease to work if left neglected for too long. This is why engines are serviced regularly.

By servicing your engine regularly, it will run smoothly and increase the engines fuel efficiency, reducing your consumption cost. You also maintain the value of your vehicle, as a car with a full-service history will always be worth more than one that is not regularly serviced.

Fluids and brakes:
The engine coolant helps maintain the correct vehicle running temperature, keeping at its optimum level. It is important to check this as well as oil levels, brake fluids and screen wash fluids.

Hydraulic brake fluids are used to stop the momentum of a moving vehicle. It transfers force from the foot pedal, all the way to your brake callipers which then clamps the pads together onto the disc, forcing the vehicle to stop by using friction, meaning it is a wear and tear item.

If not maintained properly, your brakes can feel spongy from old fluid or deteriorate hoses that can start leaking. Your brakes can also suffer from squeaks from uneven wear, improper service, and low brake pad material causing a metal to metal grind after pads are worn, damaging the disc thus needing to replace the discs and pads, and in worst cases, the calliper as well.

With Tobia Services, we can help diagnose the braking problem and replace your pads, discs, brake pipes and your brake fluid.
